In a significant political development that has effectively laid to rest all lingering debates over the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket in Oyo State, party leaders formally presented Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli as the APC governorship candidate to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The high-powered delegation was led by former Deputy Governor and Oyo APC Chairman, Chief Moses Adeyemo, alongside former Deputy Governor, Chief Iyiola Oladokun, and former Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Ayoade Adeseun.
Other prominent leaders in the delegation included Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, APC National Deputy Auditor, Mr. Gbenga Olayemi, and Mr. Soji Adedeji.

As part of the strategic engagement, the party leaders also introduced the APC's senatorial candidates to President Tinubu, demonstrating the party's preparedness, cohesion, and determination ahead of future electoral contests.

The senatorial candidates presented were Hon. Aderemi Oseni for Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Yunus Akintunde for Oyo Central Senatorial District, and Chief (Mrs.) Hannah Ogunesan for Oyo North Senatorial District.

The presentation serves as a powerful endorsement of Senator Alli's candidacy and underscores the overwhelming support he enjoys across the party structure. It also sends a clear message of unity among APC stakeholders in Oyo State as the party intensifies efforts to reclaim power and deliver purposeful leadership to the people.

With the backing of President Tinubu and the collective resolve of party leaders, the APC appears poised to enter the next phase of its political journey in Oyo State with renewed confidence, unity, and determination.
