I believe so strongly that the true measure of political maturity lies in the ability to subordinate personal ambition to a loftier, more strategic collective goal. Looking back at the trajectory of our party's pre-election alignments, it has become undeniably evident that the decision to support and endorse Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, PhD, as the flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was not just an act of political necessity, but a profoundly right and strategic choice for the greater good of our party and the people of Oyo State. In a political scene often marred by shortsighted calculations, our alignment behind his candidacy remains a masterstroke of institutional engineering. It represents a deliberate convergence of structural strength and intellectual clarity, designed to present the electorate with a unified, formidable force capable of unseating the incumbent administration and correcting the governance deficits that have held our state back.
 
Having had the distinct privilege of working and engaging closely with the Distinguished Senator over the recent times, I have been deeply moved by his authentic flair for progressive governance and his unyielding passion for developmental transformation. I make bold to assert that true leadership in a cosmopolitan state does not require boisterous arrogance or performative grandstanding; it requires a listening ear, a steady hand, and the capacity to build bridges across divergent interests, ethnicities, and generations. Senator Alli embodies these statesmanlike qualities effortlessly. His approachability and inclusive nature provide a soothing contrast to the alienation that many sections of our state currently feel.
